information related to the tournament. Keeping Harwood’s staff and families healthy is our top priority. Stay safe and thank you for your continued support.
Please join us April 27, 2020 at Ridgeway Country Club for a Memphis classic!
As the oldest charity golf tournament in Memphis, Harwood’s Annual Golf Tournament began with the idea that a golfer with an average handicap could help children with special needs. In 1959, a group of prominent Memphis businessmen and golfers turned their love of the game into a way to raise funds to support the children of Harwood Center. Spearheaded by Sam Cooper, Richard Harwood, Mark Vorder-Bruegge, Don Drinkard, Richard Block and Herbert Lichterman, the event has grown over the years just at as Harwood Center has grown to touch the lives of more and more children each year. Even though times have changed, the ritual and spirit of Harwood’s Golf Tournament will always remain a classic.
To participate in this year’s tournament please fill out the sign up form and either mail or email completed packets to Harwood.
